Welcome to Au Love Stories
My name is Ashlee Au (pronounced ‘ow’ as in ‘vow’), but most people just call me Ash. I’m a civil marriage celebrant (Commonwealth Registered, if you want to get all fancy) servicing Melbourne, Gippsland and beyond.

A little bit about me
Originally from Gippsland, I spent over 10 years in Melbourne where I went to uni and started a career in preventative health. I married my high school sweetheart in 2017 and together we share our adopted greyhound, Gary and young daughters, Rosie and Thea.
Why did I become a celebrant? Well, it all started because I thought it would be pretty cool to marry two of my best friends, which lead to me completing a Certificate IV in Celebrancy. Since taking maternity leave from my full time job, I’ve moved back to the Latrobe Valley and noticed opportunities for a warm, personable marriage celebrant, and with that, ‘Au Love Stories’ was born.

What’s On Offer
Well, you tell me! – getting married is a day all about YOU!
I will work with you to understand what vibe you’re after and do my best to bring the ceremony to life.
Relaxed, simple ceremonies are my go-to.
As well as an awesome ceremony, I will also take care of all the legal requirements involved in getting you married, including completing and lodging paperwork.
Not getting married? I can also perform other ceremonies such as vow renewal and naming ceremonies.

The Nitty Gritty
No two marriage ceremonies are the same, but most do follow a particular format.
The standard wedding ceremony service includes:
- All meetings and correspondence
- Personalised wedding ceremony
- Supply of PA system
- Performance of marriage ceremony
- Completion and registration of all legal marriage documents
- Celebrant travel (within 100km of Traralgon, VIC)
- Application and payment of official marriage certificate from Births Deaths and Marriages (BDM)
To give you a bit of an idea, the average cost for Au Love Stories is $900, but this will vary depending on things like additional travel, type of ceremony (eg. legals only), length of ceremony and other additions. Please get in touch to confirm costs.
